Why MaxGrow?

When antlers are in the growth stage, they are comprised of about 80% proteins. Hardened antlers are comprised of equal parts protein and mineral.

The two most common minerals are calcium and phosporus - comprising about 35% by weight. Calcium and phosphorus stored in the deers body only accounts for a portion of what is needed for optimal antler growth. The remainder must be consumed in the deers diet.

The problem is most soil in deer country lacks the necessary nutrients to exceed body maintenance requirements to the extent of optimizing antler growth. What Maxgrow Mineral does is supplement the soil with these vital nutrients and give deer a growing chance. A chance to be bigger, stronger, and healthier.

In short, what Mother Nature is lacking, we put back in the soil.

The secret’s in the Maxgrow Mineral nutritional system. We provide the right combination of calcium, phosphorus, and sodium – minerals that most land lacks – and supplement the deer’s diet with the right combination of nutrient rich food.

The end result is a mineral attractant that aids in the deer’s body maintenance and optimizes antler growth.

So that’s why you should us Maxgrow Mineral, because we know – Bigger Is Better.

In The Know...

  • Whitetails deposit calcium and phosphorus in their skeleton's "prior" to antler growth and transfer these minerals during active growth
  • A whitetail does not mature until 5.5 years of age. A portion of stored minerals will go to meeting body maintenance and growth "before" antler development
  • During the spring, the onset of antler growth is triggered by a change in photoperiod which releases hormones. These hormones allow deer to rapidly transfer nutrients and minerals to antler growth
  • In the spring/early summer, deer usually are deficient in sodium (salt) because of high water and potassium content in forage
  • Calcium, phosphorus and sodium, along with trace minerals, are critical at different times of the year to meet body maintenance requirements and optimize antler growth
  • The best application of supplemental mineral is to mix it directly with the soil. This provides additional trace minerals from the soil and establishes a natural permanent lick
